Feona Attwood

Feona is Professor of Sex, Communication and Culture at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. Her research intersts include onscenity, sexual cultures and new technologies, identity and the body. Her work also focuses on the ways in which sexual practices and represwentations are cuaght up in wider expressions of anxieties and controversies around bodies, media and technologies. Her publications include Mainstreaming sex: the sexualisation of western culture (2009) and porn.com: making sense of online pornography (2010).
